LAS BERTHAS

Las Berthas is a transfeminist collective founded in Buenos Aires in 2012,

 conceiving performative art as an act of resistance—a strategy for creating a shared body against the mechanisms of oppression that regulate bodies and emotions on a daily basis. Between 2012 and 2025, the collective presented its works not only in various Argentine theaters but also in international spaces, seeking direct engagement with the city and its outskirts. Their approach embraces horizontal working practices, always open to the surrounding reality.
